We ask those who seek our help to make voluntary donations towards the cost of their sessions as their means allow. Our standard request is £45 per session but, if you cannot manage this, what you can afford will be discussed and agreed with you at the time we first talk to you.
Our service is available to all in the community and if counselling is appropriate we never refuse anyone on financial grounds.
At the first session we also ask for an additional one-off donation of £5 towards the cost of the initial intake and assessment process.
Most of our costs are met from the voluntary donations of clients and the support we receive from Christ Church and other local organisations. However, to ensure that we can continue to make counselling available to the community, we need to keep replenishing our funds.
