In reply to your enquiry, a counsellor will telephone you to discuss your needs and explain what the service can offer. If it is agreed this could be helpful, a brief telephone assessment of your requirements will be conducted, with a view to arranging a meeting for you with a suitable counsellor. In some cases, if this service is not appropriate, another agency may be recommended to you as a more suitable resource.
Counselling sessions usually last 50 minutes and take place regularly in a private and confidential setting. The overall length of time spent in counselling depends on the concerns and issues involved and the depth of work required.
